Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and community-oriented Education Outreach Program Coordinator to support the design and delivery of impactful outreach initiatives that connect youth, elders, and community members. This role is ideal for a candidate who is creative, organized, and deeply committed to social impact. You will play a key role in bringing programs to life, transforming ideas into meaningful experiences that educate, connect, and empower.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and delivery of community outreach programs, workshops, and intergenerational activities
Develop engaging educational materials (presentations, brochures, digital content)
Build relationships with community partners and support participant engagement
Coordinate logistics including scheduling, materials preparation, and activities setup
Maintain accurate program records (attendance, feedback, reports)
Research, identify, and develop a comprehensive database of seniors’ groups, community organizations, and individual seniors to support outreach, workshop delivery, and community visits
Assist in evaluating program impact and identifying opportunities for improvement
Contribute to communications by drafting social media content and program highlights
Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth program delivery

Qualifications

Strong interest in community development, education, or social services
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working with diverse communities, including Seniors
Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
Post-secondary education (completed or in progress) in a related field such as Communications, Social Work, Community Development, or a similar discipline
Age: 18-30 years
