Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and community-oriented Education Outreach Program Coordinator to support the design and delivery of impactful outreach initiatives that connect youth, elders, and community members. This role is ideal for a candidate who is creative, organized, and deeply committed to social impact. You will play a key role in bringing programs to life, transforming ideas into meaningful experiences that educate, connect, and empower.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of community outreach programs, workshops, and intergenerational activities
  • Develop engaging educational materials (presentations, brochures, digital content)
  • Build relationships with community partners and support participant engagement
  • Coordinate logistics including scheduling, materials preparation, and activities setup
  • Maintain accurate program records (attendance, feedback, reports)
  • Research, identify, and develop a comprehensive database of seniors’ groups, community organizations, and individual seniors to support outreach, workshop delivery, and community visits
  • Assist in evaluating program impact and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to communications by drafting social media content and program highlights
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth program delivery

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in community development, education, or social services
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working with diverse communities, including Seniors
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
  • Post-secondary education (completed or in progress) in a related field such as Communications, Social Work, Community Development, or a similar discipline
  • Age: 18-30 years
