Legacy Keepers Network Ltd. is a purpose-driven nonprofit dedicated to restoring dignity, connection, and belonging for Seniors. Rooted in lived experience, our work focuses on intergenerational engagement, cultural preservation, and community-based wellness initiatives that uplift marginalized seniors and strengthen community bonds.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Social Policy Analyst to support research and policy development focused on seniors’ services and systems in Alberta. This role is ideal for a candidate interested in public policy, social justice, and evidence-based decision-making. You will contribute to meaningful research that informs advocacy, program design, and long-term systemic change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on seniors’ services across Alberta, including programs and service gaps
  • Analyze healthcare accessibility and barriers affecting seniors
  • Review and compare policy frameworks and service models across jurisdictions
  • Examine funding structures and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
  • Prepare briefing notes, reports, and evidence-based recommendations
  • Support stakeholder engagement and summarize consultation findings
  • Assist in evaluating program effectiveness and identifying service gaps
  • Maintain organized research documentation and provide regular progress updates

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
  • Age: 18-30 years
